------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Jan 27 18:25:28 +0000 2010 ------- Sorry, there is a trick to using the Edit Style dialog that I had forgotten, that allows a style to explicitly set a "normal" face and override the paragraph style formatting. In this case, you can get the normal formatting for the paragraph number by modifying the "Numbering Symbols" character style: 1) In the "Styles & Formatting" window, select Character Styles > Numbering Symbols, then right-click > Modify. 2) On the "Font" tab, change the type face to something other than "normal" 3) Switch to a different tab, then back to the "Font" tab and select "normal" This forces the dialog to save the "normal" setting in the style, and it will override the italics from the "Caption" style. The paragraph numbers will appear without the italic font face. Since other numbering styles use the "Numbering Symbols" character style, you may want to define a specific style to be used for the caption numbers. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
