I was able to successfully replicate this bug on Windows Vista with different
version of Open office.

Configuration used :
Windows Vista
Pentium(R) Dual Core CPU T4200 @ 2.00 Ghz 2.00 Ghz
RAM: 4.00 GB
64 bit operating system

My open office version is different from what is used.
Version open Office OOo-Dev 3.3.0
Dev 300 m 70(Build: 9478)

I performed all the steps that have been described by 'richlv'.

It is true that "motion path " animation undo is broken and is resulting in
unwanted display of motion path as fixed line when pressing ctrl+z.

Follow up tests:

1)Whenever i changed my end point of the curve to a different location, and
press Ctrl+z , it resulted in fixed black line at the old location (from where
i tried changing my end point) and it left the motion path(dashed grey line) at
the new location.

--> Then i tried deselecting everything.
Again i selected only the motion path's end point and took it to a different
location.
I investigated that when i pressed Ctrl + Z , my black line was removed and my
motion path went to the new location.

2) I tried motion paths as "curve" , "polygon" and "free form line". All
resulted in same.

3) I tried removing the object , so that custom animation is removed.
Object was removed ,animation was also removed but those fixed black lines were
still there.
I tried the same thing in MS power point , there were no lines and both the
object and motion path was deleted.

4) The color it is showing is black , as default color is black. I changed the
color to white and red, still i was able to see white lines/red lines on my
object.

This is important to customers because any custom animation of user paths on
the object results in unwanted fixed lines which causes inconvenience to
customers to make that slide again.
