------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Feb 1 21:20:30 +0000 2010 ------- I had a moment to look at this issue 48179. It is basically the same problem as I described. In 3.1.1 it works fine for me even if it is only called a workabout by some people. I was not aware of the history of this feature as I only started using animated objects recently. I see there has been a long battle to implement the possibility of rewinding animated objects within the same slide. I can only support the opinion that this feature is crucial for any serious public use. A also teach large classes and need to be able to control animated objects back and forth. Otherwise it is MS Office but their equations appear really ugly when you animate them so I prefer OO whenever I need to display any equations. Anyway, the latest DEV300m70 does everything I need for the moment. I would have stayed with 3.1.1 but there is a problem with characters overlapping when you use subscript or superscript with more than 1 letter so I could not use it either. DEV300m70 does it all so I will continue to use it, although it is not a final release. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
