Results > one of the prior sheets will have lost is AutoFilter. Probably the 8th sheet you added the AutoFilter too. I seached for this issue but didn't see anything or I didn't query right... Scenario of how I found this: I have 32 sheets with range IPs listed in columns A and B. Column C is column I really want to filter on. Select cell C1 for autofilter, A,B and D are also autofiltered on as there is data in those columns (this is expected). Sheet1 is named, for instance, India and has IP start ranges in A column, and End IP range in B.. C column in the indicator column of say 'Y'. I add many other sheets (many meaning 10 or more sheets) that have that countries range of IPs. If you go to cell C1 of each sheet and autofilter for each sheet, if you go the the 9th sheet and perform an auto filter, it will remove the filter from one of the prior ones thus limiting you to only 8 filters. I think this is defect as this shouldn't limit you. If you have a sheet, then you should be able to set a filter have it retain on that sheet. If you need this file, i'll be happy to supply but as I don't see a place for attachments, you'll need to email me through my profile to get the file to save you time for setting the up. fyi... conditional format appears to have the same type defect but I know that needs to be entered as another defect :D...
