I created a writer document, entered one line saying "Hello.", and took menu
option File > Print. A message box ...

    Error: Assertion failed
    ==================
    FILE      :
/home/terry/OOo_hacking/DEV300_m71/sw/source/core/view/viewsh.cxx at line 2285
    ERROR :  "ViewShell::ApplyViewOptions: "
    Abort ? (Yes=abort / No=ignore / Cancel=core dump)

came up three times in a row. Each time, I clicked No=ignore. Then the program
presented the Print dialog, and everything continued normally.

I am using a lightly hacked non-production build on ubuntu 8.04 with gcc (GCC)
4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu7) and printing through CUPS. Similar results
occurred with default printers HP Laserjet 4 Plus, PDF, and Stylus CX5400.

I shall try to attach three backtraces.
