------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Feb 19 22:36:38 +0000 2010 ------- The horizontal and vertical rulers in OpenOffice since version 3 are missing smaller increments. When Inches are selected as the measurement unit the only thing that appears on the ruler is the number of each inch and a half-inch increment as well as the default tab stops. No smaller increments, such as 1/16ths, or 1/10ths appear either on the vertical or horizontal ruler. This is in distinction to NeoOffice which has 1/10th increments on both the horizontal and vertical ruler. The same holds true if Centimetres are used. The ruler then displays the centimetre and half centimetre divisions, but nothing smaller. This makes setting tabs directly on the ruler much less accurate. I am experiencing this on both my iMac (mid 2008) 2.66ghz and on my Macbook (early 2007) 2.0ghz. This problem does not exist on the Windows version of OpenOffice. I do not have access to Linux. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
