Actually this dialog box appears in both modes but depends on the position of the cursor and selecting the point on the table before we right click and select the edit style option. If you are not getting the dialog box by the procedure mentioned above. Do follow these steps 1)Consider default size of table(2*5) 2)Don't click in the cell ( I mean there should not be any cursor seen in the cell but u have to select the table) 3) Now move your pointer to median line between the two rows you should see the the cursor changes now right click it. It appears.(Remember this happens only when i call from different context menu,see Screenshot for reference) 4) I did by selecting column median line and the dialog box appears too but you should be aware that you are not selecting(highlight) the cell. I did try adding rows and select the edit style option but failed to see the edit dialog box. This I have done selecting the cell.(i.e Cursor is in the Cell). Yes, I think there is a kind of inconsistency in the behavior of edit style dialog box.
