Unfortunately this problem still persists in 3.2.0.
The installation just dies after extracting jre-windows-i586.exe.
As I have said a couple of times more or less explicit: You must have missed a
check when trying to run this file or something close to it. (Running the file
above is fine. However it asks the firewall for permission.)
Could you please take this a bit more seriously?
