------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Mar 2 14:03:30 +0000 2010 ------- thanks for your reply Start->ControlCenter->Display->Appearance->Effects-> the smooth method wasn't checked at all "use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:" there is two choices under it: standard and clear-type which has less effect. choosing standard solved my issue another thing on windows 7: before I report I tested OOo on windows 7 and the same problem was there. fixing it require disabling the clear-type from display setting in control panel or from the fonts setting. if all the machine with windows 7 has clear-type enabled by default would that mean that OOo anti-aliasing will not work until it get disabled? disabling clear-type has effected windows fonts in bad way but made OOo fonts look better. the issue effects all OOo programs --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
