I had the older open office 2 series operating on a windows xp pro 64 bit
and everything was working perfectly.

On thursday eve, i updated my windows xp 64 version 2003 service pack 2, at
the windows update site, it downloaDED ABOUT 78 UPDATES

When i then tried to open any of my open office .odt documents, they would
not open, just seized up the system .

I then checked the open office site and decided to download the latest 3
version of open office, also deleting my earlier version

The open office operates fine for new documents, but i still cannot access
my existing documents, it just seizes up the system, on the loading process,
and i have to end task .

Loking for advices on solving this issue
