Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I was using .odt, .doc and .txt file types, all of whcih were built in OO.o2.0
at the time the crash occured.

I use wmaker, and standard configuration. I do not have java installed.

I changed my background in wmaker to be blue marble type stuff (a tiled image
that comes with wmaker), but thats about it.

(I've since moved to 94, which doesn't seem to have this problem) so it seems to
have been limited to that specific build.

I was working on writing a novel at the time that the crashes occured, which
requires having one large novel file and one smaller file for the chapter. I was
opening a chapter file to review and begin work when the crash happened, and it
continued to crash every time thereafter.

I can backtrack to the build in question, since I still have the original .debs
(these are taken from the website listed in #Openoffice.org) but I needed to be
able to work so I moved away from it as quickly as possible. (And when using the
.debs, it overwrites the base files.)

I could re-install the build that broke and try to break it again this weekend
if you'd like, then try to grab a trace if that would be useful?
