------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Mar 9 12:04:12 +0000 2010 ------- I create a spreadsheet with scrollbar controls for data input and xy cordinate chart for the result output. I notice that using transparent grid lines and axes in the chart slow down little too much updating of the chart in Windows environments (Vista and W7). Processor(s) are working hard also with mouse scrolling the chart visible. In Ubuntu 9.10 there is fast updates and no crashes. There may be no grids lines in chart after opening the file. Last issue is fixed just using controls. There also happens some crashes in windows but I can't reproduce them with 100%. I know one workaround: not using transparent chart components. Anyhow if there is some way make chart functioning faster in Windows I will be happy. I try attach the file.
