------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Mar 10 15:10:06 +0000 2010 ------- HI, Last day we found a bug in Writer mail merge. We have two Calc tables with adresses and other fields we use in mailings to fill in a writer document. To get the data into the document, we use the assistant to get the calc-tables. After that, we opened the datasourcepanel in writer and looked inside the desired table. All entries which where TEXT where imported but cells who only held number were not even they where formated as TEXT. After we added a space or a ' to numbers the import was correct. To cross check i´m imported the calc table in BASE and set every column to varchar that worked fine. Also the following import to writer was perfect. As it looks i think it's only a problem to get CALC tables as a datasource into Writer. With Version 3.1 there wasn't any problem. The Problem also exits on Citrix it's not only an XP problem. Now we add a ' to numbers so they are feeling as TEXT but thats not the best solution.
