Using OOO Writer 3.2.0 on XP SP3 1) „Edit“ → „Find & Replace“ or hit ctrl-f 2) Open „More Options“ 3) turn on „regular expressions“ 4) in „search for“ enter „^$“ (caret-dollar) to search for empty paragraphs 5) make sure „replace with“ is empty 6) click „replace all“ This will result in a dialog box prompting you to turn off „undo“ to continue (which is in itself unexpected behavior); depending on user interaction, three things can happen: 1) „yes“ hangs OOO Writer (infinite loop trying to replace the paragraph?) 2) „no“ will tell you that the search term was replaced 60,000 times, the file is otherwise unchanged 3) „cancel“ will close the dialog and start filling the empty paragraph with a never ending stream of new paragraphs (presumably until you close OOO Writer) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
