Then these documents you have are of invalid format. also OOo and even MS Word
2003 are able to open Word 6.0 format files.
In OOo's FileOpen dialog, you will find a filter named "MS Word 6.0". And if
even MS Word is not able to open this file, it is really defective or of a
different format.
