------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Mar 18 09:34:12 +0000 2010 ------- Some small password handling improvements: 1. Protected web connections (http, https, ftp, GIO-served, GVFS-served) should always offer to store the credentials persistently (across OOo-restart), when prompting for credentials (-> login dialog). Currently, only http(s) offers this functionality, but only if the user has configured persistent credentials (using tools/options/ooo/security) before. 2. If credentials for a protected resource are requested and the user opts (in the login dialog) for persistent storage (the new default behavior) and the user has not yet configured persistent credentials, persistent storing will automatically activated. This includes definition and confirmation of a master password (using the existing dialog that pops up when activating persistent storage using tools/options/ooo/security) to protect the credentials storage. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
