I use Writer 90% of the time, so I haven't noticed it in any of the other components, but this does not mean it doesn't apply to them. The description which opens this bug report is very good. Sometimes I can happily paste again and again from different sources, other times I'm stopped dead by this bug and there is no way for me to paste into my document. I am convinced that somewhere, OOo must have a cache or temporary variable or some sort of buffer which is not being cleared.
