As you wrote the page showed you not-logged in after logging in, I suspect this
still was from the time where OOo site used so-called static pages
(prerendered)
pages, and that you weren't actually logged in as another user, but you got
parts of a cached result (i.e. was a display-only problem, you weren't actually
being logged in as another user)
As OOo site nowadays uses another mechanism, this should not occur anymore.
In case this happens again, check with the my pages/the profile whether you
actually see the other user's data (email-address, roles/permissions membership
of project list).
I'm pretty sure you would have got your data, despite another name being
displayed in the topmost frame.
Anyway, as there is no additional data for this issue, closing worksforme.
