Summary:
========
Using DEV300m75 and OOo320m12 on WinXP, the missing bullets display by changing
output format to PDF/A. This works with and without slide notes.

The Customize tab on Numbering/Bullets style for the disappearing bullets
behaves oddly on Notes-PDF-gen.odp file (both versions: trackers 110305 and
110396). I was not able to reproduce on other files. I wonder if file contents
could be corrupted.

I hope this helps locating the issue.

Builds used:
============
OOo-dev 3.3.0 DEV300m75 (Build:9488)
OOo     3.2.0 OOo320m12
OOo     3.1.1 OOo310m19

Platform/OS:
==========
PC/Windows XP Professional SP2
Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.1.2

Export as PDF setting:
======================
In 3.3.0 DEV300m75, I turned PDF export options On and Off one at a time
to see if they affect the bullet points in PDF.
This displayed them correctly:

1. File >> Export as PDF ... >> General >> [section General].
2. By default, "Create PDF form" is checked after installing OOo. Uncheck this.
   (= this disables printable fill-in PDF forms if you have any)
3. Check "PDF/A-1a"
4. Export Notes-PDF-gen.odp from 110305 sa PDF, with or without Notes
    RESULT:
    Resulting PDF file will be 15-20 KB larger,
    but all bullet points should now be displayed.
5. Same works for Notes-PDF-gen.odp in 110396, but first delete
   the fish image on first slide. It is apparently transparent and
   cannot be correctly converted to PDF/A format.

In 3.1.1 bullet points displayed regardless of PDF ouput format.
oo_user57 did not have problems using that version either (see 110396).

Bullets/Numbering Style
=======================
I observed this in 3.1.1, 3.2.0, and 3.3.0 DEV300m75:

1. Open Notes-PDF-gen.odp from 110305 or 110396
2. Choose a line in text with disappearing bullets
3. Edit Numbering/Bullet >> Customize (Format)
    RESULT:
    The bullets graphical preview shows same colors as
    in the actual presentation.
4. Select level 1-10 and observe editable Color and Size controls
    RESULT:
    Level has no color nor relative size
5. Click through levels 2-8 and observe Color
    RESULT:
    Levels 2-8 appear to have NO color set!
6. Click levels 1, 9, 10 and observe Color
    RESULT:
    Levels 9-10: "Automatic"
    Level 1: Light Green
7. Click levels 2-8 again
    RESULT:
    Whatever was the last color selected on level 1, 9, or 10,
    appears as the color for levels 2-8. This seems odd.
8. Choose a line from the the balloon where bullets don't disappear
9. Edit Numbering/Bullet >> Customize. Click through the levels.
    RESULT:
    All levels have Light Green and match the graphical preview 100%.
10. In 110396 attachment, slide 1, last two yellow bullets appear in PDF.
    Use Format Painbrush to copy their format to the first two bullets,
    which don't display in PDF when using 3.3.2 or 3.3.0 DEV300m75.
11. Export to PDF
    RESULT:
    Now all four yellow bullets should display in PDF.

I created new presentations from scratch and manually Customized bullet colors.
I couldn't reproduce disappearing bullets nor "no color selected" anomaly in
Customize tab. Seems there is something special about Notes-PDF-gen.odp. Yet in
3.1.1 PDF export is fine. Is the file based on a template which was created in
3.2.0?
3.1.1?
