------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Mar 31 01:00:21 +0000 2010 ------- I have a file on my thumb drive that is a Microsoft word document with the extension .docx on it. this file came from Microsoft 2007 office suite. I then saved it to my computer from the thumb drive. when I tried to open the .docx file using openoffice Writer it gave me an error message that read, "The converter was unable to save the file". I have tried to save the document onto my computer several different ways and it seems to be on my computer, however, I am unable to open it with openoffice Writer.
