------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Apr 2 15:12:59 +0000 2010 ------- When I save, close, and reopen a .docx file (which I created using the same version of OpenOffice) that contains footnotes, I see that some kind of newline has been added to each footnote. Specifically: Before saving a document as .docx (or re-saving a .docx), OpenOffice gives me the generic warning: "This document may contain formatting or content that cannot be saved in the Microsoft Word 2007 XML format", etc. I punch the "Keep Current Format" button, and it saves. I close the document, then reopen it. Everything else about the footnote comes out fine: font, size; the only difference that I can observe when I reopen the file is that some kind of newline character has been added to the end of each footnote. It seems like a very consistent, simple, easy-to-fix bug. Hope this helps. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
