------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon Apr 5 14:18:08 +0000 2010 ------- I have searched, but did not find a specific match for this error in trck issues. I am running Ubuntu 9.04 64bit on a AMD and recently started to use writer for a documentation. I have copy/pasted a couple of pictures from the clipboard which turned out to become embedded pngs-type pictures. Initially in OO 3.1.6 some of the pictures disappeared simply after saving. When re-opening some where gone, some where still there. When analysing the odt (via unzip) the /pictures part shows the remaining pictures. So far so bad. I have moved on to OOO3.20m12 hoping that this was a bug already fixed. Now after having pasted some pictures and setting them to "wrap off", I cannot even save the document any more properly. I get a "General Error: general input/output error." The document kind of appears in the filesystem, but cannot be re-opened. I don't want to work with external links, because I don't want to save the pictures elsewhere. On top that's way to time consuming. I am really disappointed to run into this kind of basic-problem. I have googled a bit and the problem seems to persist since years, with no clear guidance how to fix it. May be my problem is somewhere in my system. Hope you can fix it though.
