I think, that this is no bug. The extrusion depth is calculated from the size of
the objects. So because they have the same size, they get the same extrusion
depth. Having the same extrusion depth results visually in a merge of their
surfaces. Enter the 3D-scene and alter the extrusion depth of one of the objects
should solve the ugly visualization.
