@OS: sorry can't test right now for possible regression to 3.1.1...
It's pretty expectable that reference to footnote in footnote will produce bad
things... That's why "Insert - Footnote" is diasble in context of a footnote.
While copy/paste, the 2.4.2 simply stripped out the footnote anchors.

Tested on Vista 32 bits, so Windows All but I guess it's the same on other
systems...
