------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Apr 16 15:19:24 +0000 2010 ------- This problem occurs on two computers that I use, both of which which run Kubuntu with KDE 4.4, but one has an amd64 installation and the other a 32 bit version. Inserting 'export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=none' into /usr/bin/soffice seems to work around the problem in both cases.
