The space for the footnote numbering in the footnote is the distance from the
left margin to the beginning of the text. This space is determined by the
"Indent & Spacing" setting of the paragraph style of the footnote. If you need a
larger spacing, set it in the paragraph style "Footnote". If you need different
styles for 1-9, 10-99 and 100-…, then simple define new styles.
