------- Additional comments from [email protected] Mon May 3 13:49:33 +0000 2010 ------- If text is selected (either by mouse or keyboard), interaction with mouse cursor is only possible from "half a letter before selection" to "half a letter before end of selection" -> the actual selection (as seen by OpenOffice) is shifted by half a letter to the left (compared to the selection as seen by the user) To illustrate this: Slowly select a word with your mouse and as soon as the last letter is selected, right click. You will notice that the word has been deselected because OpenOffice registered a right click _outside_ of the selection (which is in contrast to what the user actually observes). If you right click to the left of a selected word (_outside_ of the visible selection), OpenOffice will give you a context menu for the selected word! As far as I remember this issue can be observed in all versions of OpenOffice. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
