Do you mean that the transparency should be reduced (ie, treat it as opaque)? In which case does "reduced" imply that it would be not transparent at all, or somehow *less* transparent? Text such as, "should the object be treated as not-transparent to speed up printing?" might be easier to understand and less wordy. ("your printing process" also seems like an unecessary mouthful instead of just "printing".)
