Using kde4 with Window Behaviour Focus : Focus Strictly Under Mouse
Start OpenOffice Writer with a new a document

Insert a table, OOo will pop up a floating window with table buttons
The pop-up steals the mouse focus and flickers when the mouse is over
the floating window. It's is difficult to move this floating window.
It is impossible to close this window, as the mouse cannot be moved
over the 'x' button to close it.

Create a numerated list. OOo will pop up a floating window with
'list' button helps.

Often OOo steals the mouse focus and you cannot type or click in OOo.
Turning off 'Focus Follows mouse' alleviates the issue.
