The solution is commited to cws jl152. There is a new singleton
"com.sun.star.task.OfficeRestartManager" that implements the new interface
"com.sun.star.task.XRestartManager". It allows to try to restart the office.
The current implementation does not support the "session save" functionality (
documents are saved and restored automatically ), that was requested here.
Instead the office tries to close all the documents, asking user to store them
if necessary.
There are following reasons to do so:
- as we have discussed, the "session save" scenario is currently not so
important
- the approach with clear saving of documents allows to handle more gracefully
the situation with a dialog remaining open while trying to restart the office
