i don't know exactly why you object to cmc's fix;
to me it seems like it should work.
do you think that when we're in ~SwDoc nothing should insert stuff into it
anymore?
i've created another fix (check if the SwDoc is in its dtor in ~SwExtTextInput),
is this what you want?
(haven't tested it though)

[oh, and let me express my general suspicion about classes that do significant
work in their dtor, sounds like a flawed design]
