------- Additional comments from [email protected] Sat May 22 15:20:06 +0000 2010 ------- automake adds a --disable-dependency-tracking option to configure. In fedora land recently we started passing this by default to packages going through the build farm to speed them up somewhat. We have an equivalent env variable of nodep as TRUE which I imagine most distros already use, but it looks a good idea to hook it up to a configure --disable-dependency-tracking to follow that defacto standard. http://www.gnu.org/software/hello/manual/automake/Dependencies.html --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
