I revisited the original scenario from 2007 and tried to redo it (windows 7,
3.20 OOo writer). When I intentionally entered the file name as storeasPDF.odt,
the file eventually was named storeasPDF.odt.PDF - no overwrite warning for me
-. Which is fine (g).
I close the issue and thanks all involved.
