Are you sure that "On Linux" doesn't mean that you are using a go-oo.org build?
Outplace activation in OOo is quite buggy in Draw, so we don't use it. The
go-oo.org people often tend to prefer more features over less bugs, so possibly
they have activated that feature nevertheless.
We won't activate it unil the annoying bug with wrong visual area size is fixed.
