------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Jun 15 13:48:16 +0000 2010 ------- After opening a file in readonly mode (soffice -view FILENAME), hitting the 'Edit File' button causes the whole window to freeze for 30 seconds before the editable document is displayed. After this, the edit button toggles instantaneously. On Windows, using 3.2.1, an edit-only document switches in about 5 seconds.
