------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Jun 17 17:33:31 +0000 2010 ------- First, I'm not sure this is the correct vehicle for registering first impressions--and problems. So far, the interface looks good. I tried this some years ago and the response time made it unusable. It looks as though that problem has been resolved. Two problems, though. 1. In exploring, I brought up the sounds pane and just for fun selected one. This gave me another pane on the left and a sort of grunting sound. But I could not select another sound. And I can't figure out how to close these panes. None of them have an "X" in the upper right corner. Worse, I closed the spreadsheet and tried to open a text document. Those panes are still there and won't go away. 2. I opened an existing presentation that has a graphic with a round cornered rectangle. On the display it looked fine. But when I went into presentation mode, that got translated into an oval. How do I fix that. All of my graphics were acquired with great pain and suffering, and I don't like having the computer tinker with them.
