------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Jun 18 11:06:48 +0000 2010 ------- I have OpenOffice.org version 3.2.0 on Ubunto Lucid 10.04. I downloaded a file in the .doc format from the net, but writer fail to open\import it. It just hangs up. In the status bar it appears something like "Importing document..." (i have the italian version), and then, at a certain point, the progress bar just stop and it do not go any further. I had to kill the application then.
