From my point of view, this works as expected. The number format of the source cells does not necessarily determine the number format of the categorie´s captions. AFAIK that´s not specified. I tend to classify this bug report as INVALID. By no means this is a defect. It could be a feature request, but then the requested behaviour would have to be specified for every case, especially for those cases when different cells in the source with different number formats lead to one categorie´s caption.
