------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Jun 25 11:22:29 +0000 2010 ------- This enhancement concerns the pallet shown on clicking the down-arrow next to the text, highlight and background colour icons in all applications. It would sometimes be useful for the colour applied to the currently selected text to be somehow emphasised in the pallet, for example by a heavy black outline around the colour. This is already done in the dialog boxes for character background, paragraph background, cell background, etc. For example, if some text is to be coloured the same as some already coloured text: 1. select the already coloured text 2. click the down-arrow next to the colour selection toolbar icon 3. see which colour is selected (don't change it) 4. select the text to be changed 5. click the down-arrow next to the colour selection toolbar icon 6. choose the same colour as was seen emphasised in step 3 As described in issue 112686, I do not think the current colour should be shown directly on the icon; the icon should show the last used colour, so that colour can be easily applied again. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
