I added a comment to another issue and was automatically transfered to the next issue in the cue. I had not noticed this, but had noticed that my comment did not appear. I did not expect to be transfered to the next issue. I expected to see the changes that I had just made on the issue I was working on. (I have created an Issue about this confusing behavior.) So, I re-submitted my comment to what I thought was an issue of asking for the ability to allow mixed formatting of fonts in the same cell. As far as I know there is no way to have one cell contain both numeric and text data. Nor do I believe this would be desirable. In any event, the comment that I had left that resulted in this issue being closed is an accident. This issue has not been resolved and the follow-up response makes no sense either. Mixed formatting has nothing to do with removing the apostrophes from text data that has been pasted into a group of numeric data cells, or converting the data from text to numeric to suit the format. Using ‘Paste Special’ does not work, since the data is still considered text data and will appear with apostrophes when pasted into a numeric data field. Is there any way to re-open this issue or will I need to create a ‘new’ one?
