While the bounce effect works well on single shapes nowadays, character
animations still hardly can hardly be called animations.
Previews have the additional problem, that the animation is stopped prematurely.
The animation is thus cut off. In the case of character animations the
"animation" has not even started (in the visible area).
Both animation preview as well as character animation are in need of a complete
overhaul. I can not say when there will be time for that.
