They always return MAPI_E_FAILURE.". That text there refers to <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=244222>, additionally. There is however more information and more links under that URL. (Maybe the SeaMonkey people have an insight here?) --- The OOo script that I am referring to (and tidying up a little bit) was originally created in 2006 and worked back then (I remember to have tested it in person). In this summer semester a group of students tried to take advantage of "SimpleSystemMail" according to that 2006 script and ran into the mentioned problem (which I therefore looked into myself, now that I got a few days of free time, causing the creation of this issue).
