"GNU-licensed" is wrong. The problem is not GNU but GPL. And yes, it does
matter. And you can't count on the user not minding it, (s)he can just happen to
have agg 2.5 installed because it's the newest version and don't know about the
license issues. Like what happens with many console tools using libreadline.
