------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Jul 20 12:52:25 +0000 2010 ------- Hi, the start screen of OOo 3.2.1 now offers file icons on the left of the files which may be chose for creating files instead of brand icons as before. This change is great. However all the icons show the same abbreviation ODF as a meta abbreviation for the different file types of each application. I think it would be better to use ODT for text, ODS for calculations ODG for drawings, etc. instead. This would even more help beginners to recognise and memorise the different file types.
