------- Additional comments from [email protected] Wed Jul 21 21:12:34 +0000 2010 ------- When storing files on a WebDAV share, saving terminates successfully. However, upon closing the document, the file gets truncated and is left behind with a length of zero bytes. The bug has been experienced in Calc and Writer, leaving room for the assumption that all OpenOffice components are equally affected. Steps to reproduce: (1) Create new file and store on WebDAV server. The file should be safed successfully. (2) Close the document. Still, the document should be intact. (3) Reopen the document, modify it and save it. Do not close it yet. File is saved successfully. (4) Close the document. The file has now been corrupted and exhibits a size of zero bytes. Reproduced with Apache (Server: Apache/2.2.8 (Ubuntu) DAV/2 PHP/5.2.4-2ubuntu5.10 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.8g) and Alfresco 3.2r2. Client side running OS X 10.6.4 with latest patch level. NeoOffice seems to have developed a workaround for this issue, see http://trinity.neooffice.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=7979. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
