2005 -------
When I try to open a .doc file from a university website, I encounter the
following OpenOffice error message:

" error reading data from the internet
.Server error message: 403 Forbidden "

Which is then followed by (after clicking OK):

" An API call exited abnormally "

I have Norton Internet Security 2004 and J2SE Java on my PC (JRE 1.5.0_02),
and connect to the internet via telstra bigpond broadband cable.

I have been able to open this document once before using OOo 1.1.4, but after
re-formatting my hard drive and reinstalling everything (with OOo 2.0beta
instead of 1.1.4), then I started getting this problem.

I have since tried this on both OOo 2.0 beta and on OOo 1.1.4, and I have
tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still encounter the same problem.

If you would like to try out this error for yourself, I can give you the
details of the website along with a username and password.

Thank you.
