This issue is invalid. 'B3:D3' in sample document have been formatted as text,
and so of course the formula will be shown as text string after the next
modification. That's a known (and may be desired?) behaviour.
Indeed, it's not easy to show that the numer is Hex with an added "h". An user
defined formatting with formatting string "000a" will add some "a" to the
numeric value as expected, An user defined formatting with formatting string
"000a" will not be accepted. A workaround can be to use standard number
formatting and a formula '=CONCATENATE(DEC2HEX(ROUNDDOWN(B2;0);3);"h")'
(CONCENTRATE = German "VERKETTEN")
I will finally close the issue after 10 days if we will not have got additional
new information showing evidence that this one is a REAL bug.
