I am unable to register as a user of Openoffice because my email address contains a hyphen. When registering with my email address @function-design.co.uk, I receive the message "email address is improperly formatted". If I remove the hyphen, the message does not appear. I understand that a bug tracker may not be the place to makes this comment, but: It seems that this bug is now over 6 months old.
