The 'synchronize' function has been designed to simplify updates of the labels.
You change the top left label and after pressing 'synchronize labels' all other
labels are updated.
In the current use case the synchronization after having filled the labels with
data doesn't make sense. In this respect it is not a bug but a usability flaw.
It's probably useful to change the mail merge function so that the resulting
documents don't contain links.
