------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Jul 29 13:43:06 +0000 2010 ------- Hi, If you try to put on a number like 2.123456 on a cell, it will, on the default behaviour, round the value to 2.12, because of the number-formatting that Calc will choose by default, which is ok. Now, if you choose to change the format of the cell from numbers to text (@), it will enter the rounded number as a text. This has no sense. Why is the number rounded ? The number is rounded because the type of number-formatting Calc chooses by default says numbers should be rounded. Now, logically, when we choose to use this data as a text and not as a number, it should use the raw data (2.123456) to make the text of the cell, and obviously not the 2.12 which comes from an interpretation of the number-formatting. And, I really hope I'm clear...! I know my english is not good enough for this kind of explanations :// --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
